Meet the team

Friendly, open and approachable....no, really!
Alistair Bourboulas

Alistair Bourboulas

Alistair's background is predominantly in IT but focusses on all things technical & creative and has recruited within IT, the Creative Industries & the Built Environment

Alistair recruits both in the UK & globally and works with candidates ranging from graduates up to C-Level.

When he's not spending time with his family, Alistair loves all things music, whether it be playing, writing or listening. He likes to think one day he'll release a Drum & Bass track to universal acclaim but, the fact is, he's too old and needs to get over it.

Although Yorkshire born & bred his roots are from both Greece (hence the ridiculous surname) and Manchester, so he should & does support Manchester Utd.

Christian Smith

Christian Smith

Christian is a dedicated & knowledgeable recruitment individual with 17 years sector specific recruitment experience, encompassing the entire Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement sector.

Adopting a very personal approach he has a constantly expanding network of trusted contacts covering both the permanent and interim market that he's built up over the years. This enables Christian to deliver any tough to fill or niche requirements that his clients seek his expert knowledge and help with.

Any spare time Christian has is usually taken up by his young family. With 4 children under 11 his life is never dull or stress free and, ultimately, expensive!

Christian goes to work for a rest!

However, when he does get chance to relax, he loves socialising (drinking!), cooking and has been an avid supporter of Halifax RLFC for over 35 years now! On the footballing front he supports Aston Villa, so it's fair to say his sporting club preferences give him very little respite!

Eleanor Anderson

Eleanor Anderson

Eleanor's background is in Fashion & Retail recruitment following on from her degree in Fashion Marketing.

Eleanor has shown exceptional adaptability across many other sectors including Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, FMCG, Sales, Marketing & the Creative Industry.

First and foremost, Eleanor is TALENTi's resident foodie, always planning her next two meals. Other interests include shopping, child friendly lunching and an occasional night out with friends.

When exercise is completely necessary she prefers it comes in the form of a (boozy) family skiing holiday or chasing her son around soft play or the park. She’s all about holidays, clothes and drinks, but in a friendly, family focussed kind of way.

Owen Tingle

Owen Tingle

Owen is a down to earth, consultative, and results orientated professional, now in his 7th year of exclusive & retained, mid-senior level executive recruitment. His established networks of interim and permanent contacts span a range of disciplines across; Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial Sectors.

Owen always digs deep to thoroughly understand each of the unique challenges his clients and candidates face and consistently ensures the highest possible standards of integrity & ethics in everything he does.

Owen's personal life has been somewhat erratic since the birth of his daughter in November 2015, but in his words he is "loving every minute!" He still finds time to train at the gym (almost) daily, and often gets out for long walks in the Yorkshire Dales/Peak District on a weekend with family.

When time permits, Owen is quick to get engrossed in a good Sci-fi/ Fantasy novel, and also has a steadily growing collection of 'Spiel des Jahres' strategic board games (yeah, we don't have a clue either), which he's lucky enough on occasion, to actually rope friends and family into playing!

Simon Franklin

Simon originally came from a field sales environment working in the Print & Packaging and Creative Industries sectors where he built up a wealth of experience and contacts. He successfully transferred this knowledge into the recruitment field back in 2015. His vast network of contacts cover Creative Industries, Print & Packaging and FMCG with particular focus on sales and marketing functions.

Simon prefers to go through every detail possible with both clients and candidates to ensure he fully understands the brief which, in turn, enables him to match each candidate to the vacancy.

Simon’s life outside of the office is usually spent outdoors with his partner Jen and much loved Beagle, Lucy. When he finds the time, you’ll usually find him walking around the Lake District or camping in North Yorkshire.

When at home, he enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, attempting to cook up weird and wonderful creations which don’t always work out!

Rosie Cleary

Rosie Cleary

Rosie is a hardworking, consultative & ambitious professional with many years of recruitment experience and with a diverse range of recruitment knowledge. Rosie's well established contacts have allowed her to expand into a new market - FMCG - where she deals with permanent, contract & interim roles for mid to senior level positions.

Rosie always likes to get a full understanding of the business & the client's requirements, which enables her to deliver the best possible results for both her clients and candidates.

Rosie's life outside of the office involves going to Crossfit every morning before work and enjoys spending time with her partner, family & friends.

She has a great love for Gin and Chocolate which she consumes most weekends and when she's not out partying she enjoys shopping on a regular basis and likes creating new dishes in the kitchen!

Ian Murphy

Ian Murphy

Ian specialises in recruiting for middle to senior management positions within the food & drinks industry. With almost 7 years’ experience, he has a thorough knowledge of the sector and has developed strong relationships with a broad range of clients and candidates.

Operating nationally, he typically recruits for positions across Operations, Engineering, Technical and NPD on both a permanent and interim basis. Ian believes that success in recruitment is best achieved by working in partnership with organisations so that he can develop a thorough understanding of their specific requirements and cultures.

Outside of work most of Ian’s time is spent with his family, with his two daughters keeping him very busy. When he does get some spare time he enjoys cooking (he makes a mean curry), sampling beers and eating out.

Ian is also a fan of the great outdoors and enjoys camping trips with the family and various hiking expeditions having completed both the National and Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenges. Also, despite having lived in Yorkshire for over 20 years he still can’t shake off his unexplainable attachment to Walsall FC.
