Our client is a leading, multi-site food manufacturing business which produces and supplies a broad range of innovative products into a number of major retailers.

Reporting to the Process Development Manager you will play a key role in the development and launch of a range of chilled products.

Working as part of a large development team in a fast-paced environment, you will lead multiple projects and ensure critical paths are followed, trials are managed and products are successfully launched on time and within budget.

You will organise samples, check artwork, maintain relevant documentation, run trials, liaise with customers and act as a central process expert and key contact for the site.

You will be a Process Technologist with at least 18-24 month experience within chilled/high-risk food manufacturing environments.

You will ideally be educated to Degree level in food science or similar, you will have demonstrable experience of taking products through factory trials to launch.

Highly organised with a methodical approach, you will be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment and prioritise your workload accordingly.

A team player; you’ll be working closely with development chefs, concept teams, operations and technical functions.

You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to influence and, where necessary, challenge colleagues at all levels.
