Our client is a growing and reputable 3rd Party Logistics business, specialising in the FMCG / Retail Logistics industry and they are currently expanding rapidly. This role is pivotal and will involve proactively managing relationships and expectations for several allocated key customers. The role requirements

You have experience of warehousing / stock control processes, ideally in a fast paced distribution environment

You possess good negotiation skills along with demonstrable account management skills.

You have previous experience within a customer service environment.

You are an achiever who can help create and share vision, energise others and drive change.

You can set and meet challenging goals

You can influence through communication and facilitation

You have well developed commercial skills and ideally have experience of delivering year on year organic growth

You are bubbly and a confident communicator.

You have strong excel skills and can demonstrate V-lookup experience ideally.

This role would potentially suit a transport administrator, inventory clerk, stock controller or similar person looking for a more varied role

What sort of people are we looking for?

In this role you will effectively manage all customer expectations in line with achievable operational service levels.

You will speak to all customers regularly and relay any new customer intelligence to the General Manager, also sharing any potential issues with Customer Services.

You will produce monthly reports detailing a full overview of the customer's account to the senior account manager.

You will liaise with 3rd party carriers/transport companies and customers to provide booking slots for the Goods-In department.

You will maintain stock control and stock file integrity by entering new stock onto the relevant database.
