An overview of the role

Our client is now looking for an AHU/ Chiller UK Sales Manager to support, manage and lead an existing team of 5 sales professionals. This role would suit somebody based in London / South East with established experience of managing a successful sales team. A comprehensive knowledge of AHUs and Chillers is also essential.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have 5+ years experience in the HVAC sector with proven specification sales experience with M&E Markets, Consultants and Contractors across the Commercial Sector.

The role requirements

You will be instrumental in the development, implementation and monitoring of the sales strategy for our client across the UK, with focus on existing client development and a keen eye for new business opportunities.

You will manage and develop a team of 5 Sales Engineers, with an aim of growing this team to 10 by 2017.

You will drive specifications across M&E Markets, through consultants and contractors as well as securing direct sales across the UK.

You will be increasing sales of equipment at agreed prices and building profit margins in the UK.

You will be capable of creating presentations and seminars, planning meetings, producing monthly sales reports and having an understanding of market requirements.

What sort of people are we looking for?

You will have 5+ years external business development skills and a good knowledge of AHUs and Chiller Specification.

You will have 2+ years management experience of an External Sales Team.

You must have a well-rounded knowledge of mechanical engineering with a HND or degree as a minimum.

You will need to be heavily involved in developing and implementing company strategy, cross working with various other departments within the organisation.

You must be a good communicator with the ability to work with, inspire and lead a range of different people within the client organisation.

You must have a passion for selling and account management.

You must be capable of carrying out technical consultations, pricing, quotations, and negotiations with contacts.
