The role requirements
Working with the Project Manager providing assistance handling a number of projects, including; design, production & issue of layout drawings, liaising with the customer and compiling documentation.
Must have good communication skills and be comfortable liaising with clients.
Outline engineering designs from inception to completion of schemes utilising in-house resources.
The timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget.
Attend internal / external review and site survey / progress meetings.
Ascertain preliminary and detailed design requirements and solutions.
Complete contract documentation.
Awareness of site safety, health and environmental issues.
Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist subcontractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams.
Compile and collate final contract documentation, "As built" drawings, test sheets etc for inclusion into Operation and Maintenance Manuals
What sort of people are we looking for?
Qualified in a Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering discipline.
Proficient with 2D & 3D AutoCAD design.
Some experience of Revit software is desirable.
Project Management skills.
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
Self motivator with good organisational skills.
