Our client, a highly respected name in the print and packaging sector supplying various luxury brands with printed carton board packaging and commercial print. Established over 60 years, this print and packaging business has constantly reinvested and kept upto date with the ever changing market to ensure they remain market leaders.

An overview of the role

Our client is now looking to take on a Key Account Manager to lead and support the growth of one of their largest accounts. This account is a well known luxury brand that will require high levels of service and knowledge to help maintain and grow. The majority of products that you will be dealing with are printed carton board packaging along with some commercial print.

The role requirements

You will be required to take the reigns of their high profile customer and develop the business further

You will have key focus on relationship development - getting close to the customer to achieve the ultimate strategic objective of increasing our client’s market share through sustainable long term relationships.

You will be responsible for communicating with various internal departments including design and production to ensure the customer’s specifications are created and manufactured on time.

You will record and be responsible for internal CRM entries and project pipeline management.

What sort of people are we looking for?

You must have 5+ years account management experience in a printed packaging environment ideally managing key accounts.

You must have a well-rounded knowledge of various printing processes and be technically minded.

You must be a good communicator, with the ability to work with, inspire and lead a range of different people within the client organisation.

You must possess a strong ability to build relationships and account manage.

You must be capable of carrying out technical consultations, pricing, quotations, and negotiations with contacts.

You will be IT literate and be able to learn new systems.
