Due to continued expansion, our client are now looking to take on a Marketing Manager to lead the Retail Brand's Marketing team. In this role you will look to create market opportunities through a fully developed and insight led Retail strategy, With preferred supplier status already secured with several major clients across the UK and Europe. our client are now looking for a credible and creative Marketing Manager from within the FMCG sector with Brand planning exposure, who has a real gift for growing, coaching and developing the consumer Brands team.
The role requirements
Reporting to the Marketing Director.
Managing a team of 6.
P&L accountable for the assigned brands.
Driving budget sales & profit growth within all Marketing budgets e.g indirect/direct /promotional.
Ensure ongoing performance budgets vs KPI’s are being met.
Help evolve the team's vision and strategic plan and amend NPD where appropriate.
Manage team effectively with clear prioritising and strategy planning and regular 1-2-1’s to help coach and mentor team.
What sort of people are we looking for?
FMCG background - Food/Drink preferential.
Brand communication/ strategy and planning experience .
Commercial and Financial experience.
Management experience - Ability to drive and lead a team.
Must be willing to travel.
