Who is our client?
Our client, have been established for over 20 years with extensive knowledge of the food and packing industry. They work with some very exciting leading and diverse brands across the whole of the UK, they are currently undergoing rapid growth and have some very exciting plans for the future.
Due to continued expansion, our client are now looking to take on an Quality Operations Manager.
The role requirements
Managing a team of 9, helping to lead the day-to-day quality control and quality audit functions within the factory.
To understand, implement and maintaining practices in the factory in accordance with the company procedures, GMP and BRC standards.
Maintain and Improve quality standards within the factory.
Liaise between the Technical Director and your team on a daily basis.
Responsibility for calibration - internal and external.
Complaints follow up & investigation and reporting.
Internal audit follow ups & Corrective action.
Produce safe products to specification.
Audit Technical Paperwork and ensure Technical KPIs are met.
Assist with coaching and training of Quality team.
What sort of people are we looking for?
Educated to degree level in either food or quality related discipline
At least 3 years experience of working in food / fmcg industry
Strong creative judgement, challenger brand mentality.
HACCP/Food Safety experience
Microbiology understanding
Experience using MS Office
Good communication skills.
Extremely organised, great attention to detail and willing to work hard.
