Who is our client?
Our client is a rapidly expanding litho and digital printer based in the South supplying commercial print, large format and Direct Mail services to various markets throughout the UK. They have a small but passionate team who truly build long lasting relationships with their customers.
Our client is now looking to expand their team by the addition of a Business Development Manager responsible for generating new long term relationships. The services will include B2 print, digital, and mailing, selling to a selection of end users, print management and marketing agencies.
The role requirements
You will be responsible for lead generation through networking, cold calling and meetings.
You will be responsible for generating new, long lasting business with end users, print management and design agencies.
You will offer a consultative service advising prospects and client on best production and postage routes.
You will be responsible for social selling using all forms of social media.
You will be responsible for communicating with various internal departments including design and production to ensure the customer’s specifications are created and manufactured on time.
You will ensure that all clients and prospects receive the highest level of customer service.
What sort of people are we looking for?
You will be from a commercial print background - minimum 2 years experience.
You must have a solid working knowledge of various printing processes and be technically minded.
You must be capable of carrying out technical consultations, pricing, quotations, and negotiations with contacts.
You must possess a strong ability to build long lasting relationships.
You will be IT literate and be able to learn new systems.
