Who is our client?

My client is a leading food manufacturer to retail, foodservice and manufacturing customers across the UK. Due to continued expansion they immediately require an Engineering Project Manager to control and manage engineering projects for the site. This role requires a minimum a minimum of 5 years' experience of Project Engineering in a Process Manufacturing environment. Immediate Interviews for right candidates available, ideally you are HND or Degree qualified in engineering.

The role requirements

You will control and manage Engineering projects for the site.

You will actively support the Head of Engineering ensuring delivery of all key projects.

You will produce capital expenditure proposals by reviewing proposals and plans.

You will ensure strict adherence to Food Safety standards, ensuring all Engineers and contractors follow hygiene and cleanliness procedures at all times.

You will prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.

You will be responsible for identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements and reviewing bids from contractors.

You will determine project specifications and performance by studying product design and customer requirements.

You will review performance standards, completing technical studies and preparing cost estimates.

What sort of people are we looking for?

You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Engineering, gained in a Process Manufacturing environment, ideally within the Food / FMCG sector.

You are HND or Degree qualified in Engineering.

You are IT literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and have AutoCAD experience.

You will promote a continuous improvement approach by continually challenging and driving standards forward.

You have effective planning and communication skills (written, verbal and nonverbal) as well as effective problem solving skills with the ability to influence solutions.
