Our client is a growing and reputable 3rd Party Logistics business, specialising in the FMCG / Retail industry and they are currently expanding rapidly. They urgently require to appoint someone who has demonstrable experience of working within the wider business to define system requirements, functionally tests as well as training end users. You will provide first line support expertise, investigating and wherever possible resolving incidents reported to the IT Helpdesk.

You will work together with the project support team to ensure all tasks are being completed in order of priority within the business.

You will work closely with IT, taking part in the sprint process to track work and make sure all projects are completed effectively.

You will assist with issues raised via the help desk regarding in-house ‘bespoke info systems’, defining solutions for end users and providing analysis for development resolutions.

You will assist in creating demonstration videos showing end users how to use any new features in real time.

You will perform regression testing to ensure that any new updates have not affected any other areas of the info systems.

You will strive to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for any issue resolutions and suggest any potential improvements in the user experience.

In this role it will also be required to travel from time to time to any of their supported Group locations and that may require overnight stopovers..

You must be be prepared to act on urgent requirements including off-site visits at short notice.

The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of warehousing processes and systems as well as an understanding of logistics.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You can confidently articulate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.

You have strong attention to detail underpinned by a genuine focus on quality.

You have strong office skills including; Excel, Word, Visio, Skype, Outlook etc.

You have had exposure to MS SQL or similar.

You ideally have experience of, or had exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium.
