Who is our client?
Our client is a growing and reputable 3rd Party Logistics business, specialising in the FMCG / Retail industry and they are currently expanding. They have an urgent requirement to appoint a Marketing Manager ASAP. You should have demonstrable Marketing experience with a passion for driving and improving lead generation for B2B sales teams. You should also have experience of managing marketing based projects and budgets.
The role requirements
You will support the creation of a marketing strategy / vision for the business.
You will work closely with the ‘Sales and Marketing’ teams providing them with business information, product management, channel materials and trade presentations etc.
You will work on key strategic marketing projects with customers, aiming to influence their future purchasing behaviour.
You will create and implement innovative and effective trade support activities / materials.
You will also manage online campaigns, website development, SEO, blogs, whitepapers, e-books and social media etc.
You will look to generate leads for the business by creating engaging content, blogs and reports etc.
You will liaise with external agencies to manage PR campaigns as well as any related press releases.
You will identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions, perform ad-hoc analysis, “shopper” research projects and trade communications too.
What sort of people are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have demonstrable Marketing experience in ideally a similar fast paced supply chain / manufacturing / distribution environment.
You have a proven track record in coordinating trade related activities supporting NPD launches and presentation materials for customer meetings and tenders etc.
You have a proven track record in analysing market data and utilising data systems.
You have knowledge and experience in agency management, project management and brief writing.
You can display initiative and interpersonal skills as you will be working in cross-functional groups across various stakeholder levels within the business.
