Our client is an established, growing food business with several sites across the UK. They produce a broad range of leading products and currently supply into all of the main retailers. Their success is a result of their excellent reputation for innovation and product quality and they're now looking for a new Technologist to join their NPD team and play a key role in driving the business forward.

Reporting to the NPD Manager you will be part of a team developing a broad range of new and existing products on behalf of all of the major UK retailers.

You will support the Senior Technologists and BDM’s in meeting customers’ requirements by developing concepts in line with briefs, attending presentations, coordinating trials and managing the development cycle to launch.

You will be developing complex, multi-component products in a fast paced, yet supportive environment, in a business which puts its people first (no micromanaging here).

You will work on EPD projects, working to improve the current product portfolio through ingredient changes, salt/sugar reduction and so on.

You will ideally be degree qualified in a Food related discipline with at least 2 years’ NPD experience.

You will have full concept to launch experience, from creating samples through to factory trials and final launch.

Confident in your approach, you will be able to work autonomously and meet deadlines, ensuring that products are delivered on time, on budget and at the required specification.
