Our client, a company with 4 offices worldwide, design and manufacture an extensive range of residential, commercial and industrial fans, in addition to a comprehensive Heat Recovery portfolio. With an established international network of experts, an exceptional product quality and service, and over 60 years of rich history and progression, it is no surprise our client have developed a successful multi million pound operation and a reputation as a world leader in innovation.
Our client are now looking to take on a centrally based OEM Sales Manager to help take the reins on this thriving territory. This opening would suit a technical and commercially focussed sales professional from the Fan Engineering sector who has a real gift for securing deals and growing commercial relationships.
The role requirements
You will be instrumental in sales development, as well as the maintenance/management of some supply/ procurement functions.
You will drive sales and increase market share with OEMs & Resellers in the Fans Sector.
You will have key focus on relationship development - getting close to the customer to achieve the ultimate strategic objective of increasing our client’s market share through sustainable long term relationships.
You will accurately prepare and present tenders and schedules to OEM customers/prospects.
You will be capable of creating presentations, planning meetings, producing monthly sales reports and having an understanding of market requirements.
You will record and be responsible for internal CRM entries and project pipeline management.
What sort of people are we looking for?
You must be a well established Fan/ Ventilation Sales/ Engineering professional, ideally with key networks/ contacts with OEMs & Re-sellers.
You will have 3+ years Sales/ Account Management skills and an exceptional knowledge of Heat Recovery/ Fans/ Ventilation Systems.
You must have a well-rounded knowledge of Mechanical Engineering/ Fan Engineering, ideally with a HND or degree qualification, though not essential.
You must be a good communicator, with the ability to work with and inspire a range of different people within the client organisation.
You must be capable of carrying out technical consultations, pricing, quotations, and negotiations with contacts.
Ideally you have good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint Presentations
