My client are a designer and manufacturer of specialist safety products and they are immediately seeking a Manager. Reporting into the Head of Group Operations you will be working from their Head Office facility in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, driving and promoting quality across all operations within this fast paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead on quality across the operations ensuring best in class quality management systems.

You will manage and develop a Quality Team, as well as setting KPI’s, analysis and reporting.

You will manage all quality-related issues within manufacturing ensuring adherence to QMS (ISO 9001/2015).

You will work with key stakeholders to identify root cause and to instigate corrective and preventative actions in line with the NCR (non conformance report) process.

You will lead and manage the quality auditing activities, reporting on quality related KPIs.

You will promote quality awareness through training as well as promoting the use of continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, Jidoka etc

As the successful candidate you are an experienced Quality professional who will drive the highest standards and conformance.

You are experienced in implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS).

You have a relevant quality qualification and experience, ideally from working within a fast-paced world class manufacturing environment.

You can demonstrate your ability to understand engineering drawings as well as manufacturing processes.

YYou have good demonstrable knowledge of quality and measurement systems and the application of quality tools in manufacturing.

You possess good communication, planning and organisational skills and can demonstrate experience of Quality Assurance techniques.
