Who is our client?

My client is a manufacturer of wire and coatings products and they are immediately seeking a Quality Manager to work closely with the GM. Reporting into the General Manager you will be working from their facility in West Yorkshire and as a member of the Senior Management Team you will install, maintain and develop all necessary procedural systems in line with all set objectives, ensuring compliance with 3rd party and customer specific related requirements.

The role requirements

You will develop current quality systems and install new systems as required.

You will provide adequate systems to ensure that company Quality targets are achieved. and improved, making sure they keep ahead of continuing quality expectations.

You will be responsible for the update and maintenance of company approvals.

You will deliver training for all relevant personnel in the use of the quality systems.

You will organise the internal, external, customer and group quality audits, remedying deficient areas of system controls.

You will implement corrective action plans to maintain compliance with the systems etc.

You will operate within budget for systems development and also propose future developments/requirements as and when required.

As the successful candidate you are an experienced and proactive Quality Systems professional.

You will drive the highest standards and conformance having worked within a similar manufacturing environment.

You have previously achieved ISO 9001:2015 company certification and you have a lead auditor certificate.

You are self motivated, possess strong analytical skills and are competent in Microsoft Office applications.

You can demonstrate good time management, ensuring that deadlines are always achieved.

You can demonstrate good attention to detail and accuracy of information, with the ability to interact with people at all levels.

You have good people management skills with the ability to recognise training needs and recommend development strategies.

You are able to develop and promote continuous improvement across all areas of your responsibility.
