Our client is a highly successful & rapidly growing international print management company with offices spread across the globe. Recently, significant contract wins have propelled them to be one of the leading names in marketing procurement with some of the world’s best known brands as clients.
Our client is now looking to take on a Senior Account Director to manage one of their largest clients based in the North West. You will be on site with the client, development and nurturing a key account across multiple service lines & locations and this role is key to strengthening their bond with the client and identifying growth opportunities that are delivered on time and against financial budgets & targets
You’ll need to be a strong leader, visionary and be able to combine daily support and long-term strategy to ultimately deliver strong growth of the account in the UK and internationally.
You will be passionate and have an outstanding retail background with excellent knowledge of a diversity of products, services and retail POS environments and have a strong background in leading account teams at a senior level across multi-site locations.
You will be experienced, confident and emotionally intelligent to be able to manage a demanding client who will be expecting exceptional service and growth.

You’ll be providing strategic leadership and direction for a client with a spend of circa £15M domestically and £30M globally and managing a team of approximately 15 staff.
You’ll be taking full responsibility for the strategic development and growth of this business.
Responsibility across all areas including P&L performance, commercial and business strategy.
Play a leading role in the delivery of client satisfaction, including client liaison, management of internal resource departments & management of external suppliers
Look after the professional development of your team members through appraisals, one‐to‐one meetings, mentoring & training
Build client development plans for each year and achieve and exceed growth targets
Manage overall financial performance of the account, risk analysis and remedy
Manage contract review and renewal
Develop strong relationships with senior key decision makers
What sort of people are we looking for?
You have the ability to develop positive relationships at all levels and command excellent communication skills and people management skills
Able to present account planning and strategy for retention, growth and added value
You will need to prove a successful history of client and contract management
Ability to anticipate internal and external business issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
You will have worked extensively onsite with clients previously and understand the complexities and requirements of managing your client’s experience.
We’ll need to see extensive people management experience including performance management and team leadership
Experienced in managing client service plans, KPI’s, budgeting, forecasting and leadership
Significant experience of managing work in a fast paced retail POS environment
Previous experience of presenting to Senior Management/Board level
Strong experience of dealing with large P&L budgets
Proven track record of operational management for client services departments
