Senior Commercial Estimator

Our client is a highly successful and creative litho and digital print organisation based in the East Midlands. Acting as a true print marketing partner for their clients, this business is a unique leader in print, direct mail and large format.

Our client is now looking to take on an experienced senior commercial estimator to be the first point of contact between their clients and internal departments.. You provide first class service for their printing and marketing needs.

Managing projects from initial brief through production and despatch.

Participating in production planning meetings and updating the team on current work.

Taking briefs from clients and estimating using their Print Software.

Advising clients and internal teams on best production routes.

Continually learning new print and production techniques to ensure you can offer exceptional service.

Reporting on current market prices delivering insight to the management and client services teams.

Advising on print, direct mail and variable data printing including fulfillment and postage.

You will build an intimate working knowledge of your clients and their requirements.

You will provide exceptional customer service to all clients

You will update and inform management of current work in progress and status updates.

You will work to strict SLA’s to ensure continuity for the clients.

You will deal directly with print suppliers

You must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a print estimating role.

Knowledge of Tharstern would be highly desirable.

You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.

You will have exceptional working knowledge of print production with the ability to advise and guide clients/internal staff.

Knowledge of variable data printing is essential.

You must have production planning experience.

You must be a great communicator, with the ability to work with, inspire and lead a range of different people within the organisation.

You will be a great problem solver with an ability to think on your feet.

You will be IT literate and be able to learn new systems.
