Senior NPD Technologist

Our client is an established food business with several sites across the UK. They produce a broad range of leading products and currently supply into all of the main retailers. Their success is a result of their excellent reputation for innovation and product quality and they're now looking for a Development Technologist to join their NPD team and play a key role in supporting a number of key customers.

Reporting to the NPD Manager, you will be part of a busy development team in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be working closely with a major retailer in a 'hands-on' development role, managing the full development life-cycle from concept to final launch, so you'll be involved in everything from producing samples, maintaining paperwork/documentation through to coordinating and leading trials in the factory.

You will work closely with commercial and marketing teams, working on NPD and EPD projects and ensuring that products are launched on time, to the correct specifications and within budget.

You will ideally be educated to HND/Degree level in Food Science (or similar) with at least 3 years' NPD experience.

This is a key role within the team, so our client is looking for somebody who is enthusiastic and passionate about product development and a team player with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels.

Confident in your approach, you will be highly organised, able to work autonomously and manage multiple projects to strict deadlines.
