Due to continued expansion our client are now looking for a SOLIDWORKS Design Engineer. In this role you will liaise with the internal and external customers to understand their requirements and produce cost effective solutions. You will have the skills and knowledge to design and detail a wide range of steel, timber and solid surface products, including fixing and finishing methods. You will liaise with the internal and external customers to understand their requirements and produce cost effective solutions.

A good knowledge of SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD.

In-depth knowledge of SOLIDWORKS custom properties and parametric linking.

Excellent technical aptitude in steel and timber fabrication.

Experience within a similar position.

Ability to demonstrate a experience in high variation, low volume manufacturing environment.

Strong communication skills, able to deal with both customers and technical staff.

Self-motivated, keen to develop within the business.

Positive, proactive team member.
