Who is our client?

My client is a leading specialist food manufacturer of several well known brands in their sector. Due to an impending departure they immediately require a Senior Supply Planner / Team Leader. This role will suit an individual who has demonstrable experience of managing and developing team members. You will be managing and looking to continuously improve the supply planning processes and systems.

The role requirements

You will create and execute efficient supply plans to achieve customers’ and business expectations.

You will be Influential in developing close collaboration & alignment between the supply chain and commercial teams.

You will drive the supply planning function forward ensuring optimum stock levels “at the right place at the right time”.

You will manage the day-to-day planning for your own suppliers / brands, ensuring workload balance as required.

You will lead, manage and mentor two (2) x supply planners in this integral role.

What sort of people are we looking for?

You can demonstrate previous experience of supply chain / forecasting / demand planning / materials role in a similar fast paced manufacturing FMCG environment.

The successful candidate will be someone who can take the team forward and can drive change and “make things happen’.

You have strong communication skills with the ability to win hearts and minds and inspire the team to achieve.

You are a logical thinker with strong supply chain planning skills who can help develop an integrated and agile team.

You have demonstrable supply chain system experience.

You are someone who will look at processes and develop KPIs for the team.
