Who is our client?

Our client is a blue-chip manufacturing business in the food & drinks industry. This role is based at one of their key sites in the UK which has undergone of period of significant investment and produces a broad range of well known, market leading brands.

The role requirements

Reporting to the site Training Manager you will play a crucial role in the ongoing training and development of teams of skilled operators across the site.

You will deliver internal training and also liaise with external trainers to ensure that individual and team learning objectives are delivered.

Working closely with colleagues across Engineering and Operations, you will support the business on their TPM journey, particularly AM and PM pillar activity.

You will support the Training Manager in the creation and maintenance of training programmes and standards while also sharing best practice with other trainers across the group.

What sort of people are we looking for?

You will be an electrically biased engineer, either a time-served apprentice or degree qualified, with experience of working in a food, drink or FMCG manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and experience of TPM would be an advantage (particularly Autonomous Maintenance) as would any formal training qualifications.

This is a very people focused business, so we’re looking for somebody who is proactive and can influence and engage with colleagues at all levels.

Previous experience of training apprentices, engineers or operators would be ideal, but this role would also suit a high-calibre engineer who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to further their career with a global organisation.
